The Spirit of Giving, Again Made MAP’s California Helping Hand Project a Success

For a third year in a row, our supporters and donors showed the true meaning of holiday spirit by donating money and toys, and taking time on a Sunday to help prepare 160 food baskets and wrap 500 toys. We were thrilled to see so many youngsters amongst the helpers on Dec. 9th. The main recipient of this year’s holiday giving are 150 disadvantaged families from San Francisco’s Mission District.

We thank each and every one of our generous supporters and donors, especially the Central County Fire Dept. (Burlingame), IKEA (East Palo Alto), Marine Toys for Tots Foundation (San Jose) for donation of toys, as well as Costco for donation of food items.

Your caring and action is making it possible for children from needy families to celebrate the holidays with joy and dignity. On their behalf and MAP’s, we salute you and wish everyone happy holidays.
