By Iran Team
October 2, 2020
This October, the schoolgirls in North Khorasan are arriving at school with a new sense of joy and delight. Their dream has come true thanks to the generosity of Iranian Apple Employees.
The construction and refurbishing of Maryam Mirzakhani School is completed with the support of MAP donors, and students will be attending school in early October with great enthusiasm to continue their education.
Studying in this school was previously very difficult for the students due to its dilapidated condition and old age. Efforts to rebuild this high school had begun long ago but halted due to lack of funding. With the support of MAP donors, we secured the funds needed and completed the construction.
The inauguration of the girls’ high school took place with joy and hope for the students to learn and thrive in science. For this reason, the school was named after Professor Maryam Mirzakhani.
Professor Maryam Mirzakhani’s school is now open to all students in the city of Ziarat in North Khorasan to provide the means for growth and development and easier education for students and the way for them to reach higher heights.
Thanks to the Generosity of MAP donors, Nikgaman Jamshid Charity (MAP’s Sister NGO) has to date, built 27 schools in Iran. Thank you for your kindness and help, promoting education among the deprived children in Iran.
