We are pleased to announce that MAP has received a matching grant in the amount of $18,900 from Neda Nobari Foundation to help support MAP’s Nutrition Outreach Program in Oakland, CA. MAP’s Nutrition Outreach Program serves impoverished children and families to fulfill their emergency and vital food needs. We work with schools and shelters to identify hard working families facing difficulties in their lives. Often, parents have to make the hard choice between paying their utility bills and providing food for their children. This program provides healthy and nutritious food, not accessible through food pantries, to these children.
