We are excited to launch our first Computer Learning Center in Dangobadi Village, Odisha.
There are thousands of computer related job opportunities in the state of Odisha; but, unfortunately, due to lack of local qualified young adults, the job positions are often filled by out of state candidates. Most graduates from public high schools in Odisha have never used a computer, or learned about computer technology or the Internet.
MAP in cooperation with Prishan Foundation (MAP’s Sister NGO in India) is establishing and managing FREE Computer Centers in the Rayagada District. These Computer Centers serve as a place where children and young adults between the ages of 15 to 21 can get free quality computer training and education, helping these individuals obtain the qualifications for obtaining jobs and becoming self sufficient members of their community.
Students who successfully complete our 6 months training curriculum will be able to receive a DCA (Diploma in Computer Application) provided to them through IIET, Odisha’s leading IT institution. With this degree in hand and internship experience, they will be qualified to obtain jobs in any IT institutions in Odisha.
