A. What is the “Likes for Loaves” Campaign
“Likes for Loaves” is a donor sponsored social action campaign that will feed hundreds of striving families in Iran.
Iran was one of the first countries affected by the coronavirus pandemic. This led to business closures and loss of jobs leaving already struggling communities destitute with children and their families experiencing hunger on a daily basis. To help respond to this crisis, MAP has launched its “Breaking Bread Project”.
This project provides three loaves of bread per day to a family in need, thus providing a total of 90 loaves of bread each month for children and their families. Currently, we have provided over 200,000 loaves of bread to 1,200 families each day.
With your help, we hope to feed an additional 10,000 people (children & their family members) living in Sistan Baluchestan, Kerman, and Hormozgan.
B. How You Can Participate
A few seconds of your time is all it takes:
- Like and follow our posts on all our social media channels during this Campaign from October 9th-16th.
- Share the posts on your social channels and encourage your network of friends and family to participate.
With just these two actions you will be feeding impoverished children and their families in Iran.
C. How Does it Work
A donor has generously offered to match every like and/or follow by a monetary donation which is equivalent to:
- Every like on the Likes for Loaves post = 1 loaf of bread for a family.
- Every follow on the Moms Against Poverty social channel = 2 loaves of bread for a family.
4X your effort: We will post this Campaign on each of our social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and, LinkedIn). Participate in all of them.
