WHO WE ARE
MAP was launched in 2008 by a group of individuals, who believe that, every child deserves a chance to thrive in this world regardless of where they are born.

Since then MAP has grown into a network of like-minded individuals bridging the coasts with the belief that every act of kindness, no matter how small can radically change the life of a child.

We believe in teamwork, integrity, and honesty and are passionate and committed to empowering impoverished children, while respecting their individuality and maintaining their dignity and self-esteem.

OUR MISSION
Our mission is to nurture and educate underprivileged children to their fullest potential, so that, one day, they can contribute and lead within their own communities; thus breaking the cycle of poverty.

OUR APPROACH
We develop and advance our programs, one community at a time, by first addressing the children’s basic needs through provision of food and shelter. Next, we empower the children with appropriate educational programs, so that they thrive and become self-sufficient members of their society and the world at large.

OUR WORK
We have a holistic and multifaceted approach to ending childhood poverty. Our projects include: Education Programs, Hunger Relief Programs and Orphan Care Programs.

“Heart felt thanks from the population of Mbour, our wonderful local team of workers, all the local staff of Natangué Senegal for the work we do together.

One child at a time has become 1500 children at MAP constructed schools. 21 classrooms built and sustained by MAP in Senegal has led to; happy teachers and parents and pride of entire impoverished areas of Mbour which is a costal town in dramatic need of infrastructures.”

Elena Malagodi, Natangue Senegal
